The Hidden Hub

The category is often a word that isn’t on the board. Find what the tiles point to.

When to use it: a cluster won’t cohere by shared meaning, and decoys (sports! drinks!) keep luring you into a group that doesn’t quite work. That pull is the cue: the real link is an off-board hub word every tile points to.
The unlock question: “Is there one word — not on the board — that all four of these point to?”

The decoys are not noise — they are the chameleons planted to build the wrong group. The hub is what they hide.
